Tony Fajkus is a long term resident of Kirksville and is committed to the success of the city. He and his wife, Patty, have two teenaged sons, Andrew and Nathan, and a married daughter, Beth. Tony and Patty are also blessed to have a beautiful granddaughter. Patty worked for many years at KCOM and has been employed by the Kirksville School District for the past five years. The Fajkus family appreciates living in the Kirksville community and wants to see it grow and prosper.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. After graduating from college he served in the  Army for 3 years during the Vietnam War era as a Pharmacy Specialist. Upon completing his tour of duty he was employed by Alcon Labs as a Process Development Engineer. In 1979, Tony was hired by Hollister, Incorporated as a quality engineer and is currently the quality management representative for all products produced at the Kirksville plant.

Tony is active in his church, where he has held various positions of responsibility and is part of the leadership team. Over the past 10 years, Tony has led multiple mission trips to the Philippine Islands.
